In the case of cats, doing it on a daily basis will help to prevent or minimize the formation of fur balls.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">After grooming your pet, it is important to keep brushing its coat over time, this will help to separate the dead hair from the new one as it grows.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Dogs shouldn\u2019t go without a bath for more than two months, while cats don\u2019t require regular bathing, only when they are extremely dirty.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Your pet\u2019s ears should be checked at once or twice a month and gently cleaned with a damp (not wet) cotton ball.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">It is recommended to get a professional to cut your pet\u2019s nails, in order to prevent\u00a0cutting too short, which can be painful for your pet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">If your dog has stiff\u00a0hair (German Shepherd, Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Belgian Shepherd, etc), or is a breed\u00a0with a lot of hair (Chow-Chow, Pomeranian, Collie, Spitz, etc), it would be best to take him\/her\u00a0to the groomer\u00a0to have all the shedding\u00a0hair effectively\u00a0removed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">For dogs that normally have their hair trimmed\u00a0all year round (cocker, schnauzer, pigeon, fox terrier, airedale, yorkshire, etc), it is important to keep brushing, trimming, and maintaining proper hygiene to avoid knots from forming.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ungroomed pets are prone to have parasites and fur balls which pull on skin.
